The Fixed-Interest Option is a group fixed annuity featuring a highly competitive current interest rate. The rate is declared no more frequently than every 90 days with interest currently credited on a daily basis at an annual effective rate. The product currently credits interest under a portfolio interest crediting method in which all deposits receive the same return regardless of date of initial deposit. The Fixed-Interest Option also features a 1.00 percent minimum guaranteed crediting rate for the life of the contract. This product is offered in conjunction with the Group Mutual Fund product.

Loans are available from your mutual fund custodial account, subject to administrative limitations and requirements imposed by the Custodian. Investors can forecast various loan scenarios via our self-service tools. Loans can be requested by phone via our CSPs who prepare all loan documents. The loan is issued within three business days of the completed request. Loan repayments may be made by payroll deduction or ACH debit. The loan will provide a fixed rate of interest of 1.00% above the prime interest rate as published from time to time in the Wall Street Journal. Corebridge Financial notifies each participant of the distribution requirements under IRC Section 401(a)(9). The notification explains the distribution requirements (i.e. beginning date requirements, tax implications, minimum payment calculation, etc.). The participant is given an option for the company to calculate the minimum distribution within the guidelines required by the IRS.
