Investment Strategy
The fund seeks the highest possible total return consistent with conservation of capital through investments in medium- to high-quality fixed income securities. The fund invests at least 80% of net assets in medium- to high-quality fixed-income securities and may also invest up to 20% of net assets in lower-quality fixed income securities which are considered below investment grade. A portion of the fund’s assets may be invested in U.S. dollar-denominated fixed-income securities issued by foreign issuers, although it currently intends to limit these investments to no more than 40% of total assets.
